Grace Growing

Children

There is no more important ministry at Grace Lutheran than teaching children of God’s saving love for them and the joy of living life as God intended for us.

As part of our Lutheran heritage we support families wishing to teach their children of a baptismal life in Christ by offering baptism. We welcome children of all ages and backgrounds to the front of the church for a special children’s message during the regular Sunday service, a practice that is mutually affirming for kids and adults. Children also contribute to the service by serving as acolytes. We provide a robust Sunday School during the morning service, one that features fun and learning. Activity bags are available in the church lobby for younger children to use during worship time as needed.

We serve our community throughout the week by providing state-certified daycare and preschool at our Grace Christians Children’s Center. For information on this, see the section of this website devoted to GCCC.

Adults

Ongoing growth opportunities for adults, in addition to the Sunday morning service include:

Adult Bible Study

Steve Pollard (Elder) is leading the discussion in this highly interactive approach to God’s ever-timely Word. This is a forum where people can ask their real questions, the ones they’ve always wondered about, whether they be profound or trivial. Coffee and light snacks are provided. We meet Sundays from 9-10:00 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.

Ladies' Bible Study

The Ladies’ Bible Study (LBS) meets weekly in our Fellowship Hall (Tuesdays at 10 am).  Come grow with them by studying God’s word.  Our study is perfect for women brand new to the Bible and for those who are experienced. So come,  just as you are. You are going to love it here.

LBS will not meet at in the church fellowship hall during the summer months as our children's center utilizes that space. Contact the church office to get location information during the summer.

Women in Mission

Our (LWML) Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is better known as Mission Servants here at Grace. What are we? What do we do? When do we meet?   We are an auxiliary organization of the LCMS (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod). As we meet each month we enjoy fellowship, affirm one another, inspire our faith in the Triune God, pray for those in need, and plan activities and projects that encourage our faith and service for those in our congregation, our zone, our state, our nation and the needy throughout the world. Our meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Grace. All women of Grace are invited to attend. Come bless us with your presence—make new friends and plan with us for upcoming adventures with other Christian women.
